The Dormition Cathedral reopening ceremony

It was a great honour for the Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker Charitable Foundation to receive an invitation from Omsk Oblast Governor Leonid Konstantinovitsch Polezhayev and metropolitan Theodosius of Omsk and Tarsky district to participate in the reconstruction of the Omsk Dormition Cathedral.

It took 2 years to restore the grand cathedral.

Here is a TV report of the cathedral consecration ceremony. The participants of the historic event will always remember that day.
