The Year of the Teacher Concert in Nerekhta

October 30th, 2010

On October 30th, 2010, in the town of Nerehta House of Culture the concert dedicated to the Year of the Teacher was performed at the Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker Charitable Foundation support.


The list of the concert performers included the groups of the Nerehta Autograph Children Creativity Palace, the string ensemble directed by Valentina Novikova (Ivanovo), the soloist of the Moscow Russian Opera theatre, Sergey Moskal’kov (baritone), the soloist of the Galina Vishnevskaya Center of Opera Singing, winner of international competitions, soloist of the Russian Opera theatre, Alina Shakirova (soprano).


The music of Russian and foreign composers, such as Tchaikovsky, Strauss, Corelli, Bizet, Sviridov, Khachaturyan, Morricone, was performed.


Sergey Moskalkov sang the Dicitencello vuie song by the Italian composer Falvo and the aria of Mr. X from Kalman’s operetta of Princess of The Circus.
Alina Shakirova presented Bakaleinikov’s romantic song of Little Bells and the seguidilla from Bizet's Carmen
.

Many kind comments were said to the Foundation, orchestral players and the soloists. The spectators, teachers by the most, warmly thanked the performers and the concert organizers who had not forgotten their holiday. “This music is our soul”, many said.
